Bug Report: "The Operation Was Aborted" on Stop
`Steps to Reproduce`

Get ChatGPT to start talking, hit the "stop" button bottom right.

`Expected Result`

ChatGPT stops talking, and control is returned to the user, who may then enter a new prompt. (the behaviour until recently)

`Actual Result`

System errors out with "The Operation Was Aborted" , and you need to do a sort of reload-dance to unstick it.

ChatGPT pro web interface; via Firefox 133.0.3 (64-bit) on Linux

Incidentally it seems that in the background GPT is still running, and reloading the page you get the full text.
I get the impression the model doesn't actually get stopped in the background, and then things break.

((This is particularly annoying with 4o, since 4o tends to ramble a lot.))

This is a horrible issue, You cannot stop 4.0, it rambles. You try to stop it, it aborts. What I have found as a work around is hit your screen refresh. The inability to stop 4.0 has resulted in my hitting a message cap, (due to resending commands over and over) which is just wasteful. And I have to add, the reason this is such a big problem for me in the first place, is because it seems to have an increase in hallucinations and it's just not following instructions at all lately. It's barely functional.

I also came here to report this. It is awful.
