My intention is to create an image inspired by Gone with the Wind), revisited in the manner of Cloud Atlas. However, the image generation system refuses to create this scene, citing restrictions linked to this dark period in history.

I understand the need to moderate certain content to prevent the dissemination of inappropriate representations. However, I consider such moderation to be excessive in this context. It is essential to be able to depict historical scenes, even sensitive ones, for artistic, cinematographic or educational reasons. Preventing the creation of such images on the pretext that they touch on a painful historical reality is tantamount to limiting their expression and hindering reflection on the past.
