Bug Report: Deep Research on PRO account broken o1 and o1-pro (in web version answers via o3-mini, not o1)
`Steps to Reproduce`

On PRO account after adding Deep Research feature:
When selecting o1 or o1-pro model in web-browser it gives answers via o3-mini model (same as Deep Research). You can notice it by behaviour (quality of answers),
and lack of progress bar typical for o1-pro.

Android APP seems ok (unupdated no Deep Research)

Windows app works okay (also no Deep Research in it)

Answer o1 or o1-pro

Using o3-mini instead

I have some updates:
I tested different situations, and investigated 2 methods to work now in o1 and o1-pro :
a) use Windows app (works okay in it) - not like this method, cause only 1 tab possible, very bad for me
b) not always, but from time to time it works normally in cleaned Firefox browser (dunno why), in Chrome not works at all even in clean. In Firefox sometimes also start to bug. I perform short test before start: if o1-pro have progress bar, then no bug for now and I work, if bugged, then I clean cookies in Firefox and re-login (but it also not always helps). Again, in Chrome cleaning cookies in 99% not helps

so if dont help cleaning cookies, only alternative use Android/Windows app for now 😦

This bug should be of high priority since it basically renders advanced models inaccessible

Also in the case of enabling deep research, the answer pops up immediately. Apparently the model in use is o3-mini or 4o or 4o-mini.

Obviously, it's happened after Deep Research, cause it should invoke o3-mini from any model, and it break down all logics. It's a pity that OpenAI not notice our reports, or dont know how to resolve it. Maybe will be fixed only after Chatgpt 5 launch, when they rework all system completely as Sam Altman today have said.

For my guys, sometimes help to use Firefox browser, maybe try it (it's not soulution, cause it's also fails, but not so often as Chrome)

i have same issue.
Primarly ive discussed with support, they "fixed" it soewhast but after few days i encountered this again
as for me ive refunded pro for now, im looking how situation will be.
