Bug Report: memory is bugged; new memories added are not the things asked for
`Steps to Reproduce`
  1. enable memory feature
  2. let chatgpt add something to its memory by saying “remember xxx” or something similar
  3. check the memory management tab to see if it’s being implemented
`Expected Result`

the memory gets added with the correct prompt

`Actual Result`

it adds memory with a completely different meaning; often not mentioned in any of the chats

`Environment`

iOS app version 1.2025.021

example: tried to add memory about emoji usage with the prompt: “Remember, zero emojis unless explicitly asked. bold/all caps texts should not be overused too, just on the exact emotion.” but chatgpt choose to add “my favorite pokemon is porygon-z” instead
in fact, I don’t play pokemon, and porygon-z was never mentioned in any of the chats

Hi! I’m glad (and also a bit frustrated) to see someone else facing the same issue. I’ve been dealing with weird duplicate memories and even ‘phantom’ memories that don’t relate to what I’m actually discussing. Sometimes, it tries to note things I never even mentioned. The worst part? The important things I want to remember don’t get saved. Have you found any pattern or workaround for this yet? Let’s share info and figure this mess out!

it seems like it has been fixed for now
