Bug Report: GPT does not read Project Files and lies about it
`Steps to Reproduce`

Just upload a file with written text, like txt or PDF, ask it to read it and tell you the contents. GPT has failed to do so in every instance in my case

`Expected Result`

Will read the file and procure the wanted information. Will use project files in chats when needed/prompted.

`Actual Result`

reads the filename and extrapolates from that. if the file is renamed to something like a single digit, it will make up something about it instead.

Also impacted. Files uploaded to the project are barely glossed over when I ask to have them summarized (often filled in with 'same party different host' details, if not outright wrong details), and my request is outright refused when I ask it to 'read out verbatim', which it had no issues doing before this issue began. If I upload the respective file to the individual session, and ask it to read THAT file, it has ZERO issue reading.

Having looked around on the web, I found something that seems to at least be a work around for now. Upload the files to the project via the windows app. This has fixed the problem for me, for now, as the files uploaded via the windows app are being read and used, not just in the windows app but in the android app and web browser too.

I can confirm this works! Wierd, but great that there is a way to use Projects again!

Having similar issue. No windows app to try though. Guess I’m stuck for now. (Need to upgrade my Mac to try that app)
