#First Steps to Creating Custom GPT

As I've been playing with ChatGPT for more than a year now, and getting better with asking nuance questions. I'd like to create a library for my clients so they can feel confident, too.

But me thinks I need to create an interactive custom GPT rather than a list of questions. I want Chat to ask them clarifying questions (if/then) to help them think about their answers.

I've asked chat the first steps to creating a custom GPT for my clients but I'm not quite sure I understand the outline.

FTR: I am pretty tech savvy (coding websites with HTML, JS, CSS) but nothing more than that.

Can I create prompts that will allow my clients to move thru their assignments without an API?

for me what I usually do is when creating the custom gpt I usually ask the higher end models like o1 to create a prompt for me for a custom gpt based on my needs. So if I need something like I tutor I say that to o1 and it creates the perfect prmpt outlining everything about the custom gpt and more. this helps create a much more sophisticated gpt with a full prmpt made by the best open ai model. Then u can publish the gpt on the gpt store and they can use it for a bit.
