Bug Report: Windows app Companion Window goes blank

`Steps to Reproduce`

I don't think will reproduce the issue but this is certainly what happened: Enter a prompt to request code. Get a response. Select text from within the response code block.

`Expected Result`

Simple selection for copy.

`Actual Result`

Entire discussion cleared - the original prompt and the result. It's like a new session but without a welcome prompt.

Result on select. Te cursor was moving for mouse selection but the selection had not completed and the mouse button was not yet lifted.
