Apologies in advance. I am not a professional so this is an amateur question. My website is showing its age with seo and traffic. I made the site myself and it has performed well for years until recently. I noticed when I give gpt content it can quickly provide suggested seo keywords by simply asking. Is there a way I can have it crawl my pages so I don’t need to direct it to each one?

Hi @manic gust. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
Based on the information provided in the knowledge sources, OpenAI's GPT-4 does not have the capability to crawl websites directly. However, it can certainly assist in generating SEO-optimized content and suggesting keywords based on the content you provide it.
Here's a general approach you could take:
-
Extract the content from your website pages. This could be done manually or using a web scraping tool. Unfortunately, GPT-4 does not have the capability to perform this task.
-
Feed the extracted content to GPT-4 and ask it to suggest SEO keywords or generate SEO-optimized content. You can do this by providing the content as a prompt to the model and asking it to generate keywords or optimized content.
Remember, GPT-4 is a language model and it works based on the prompts you provide. It doesn't have the ability to browse the internet or crawl web pages on its own. However, there is a feature called "Browse with Bing" that allows GPT-4 to search the internet to help answer questions that benefit from recent information. This feature is integrated into a single unified model that is accessible when you select GPT-4o from the model selector. But it's important to note that this feature is used to retrieve relevant results based on a keyword search and not to crawl web pages (source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8077698-how-do-i-use-chatgpt-browse-with-bing-to-search-the-web)).
