Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Safari browser on an iPhone SE 2 or iPad Mini 6.
  2. Set the browser to landscape orientation.
  3. Try typing in ChatGPT, then press and hold the upward arrow (representing the Shift key) on the virtual keyboard and press Enter to insert a line break.
  4. Switch the browser to portrait mode and try typing again, observing the behavior.

Expected result:

In landscape mode, pressing and holding the Shift (upward arrow) and then pressing Enter should insert a line break instead of sending the message.
In portrait mode, Shift + Enter should insert a line break, while pressing Enter alone should send the message.

Actual result:

In landscape mode, pressing Shift (upward arrow) and Enter does not insert a line break, and the message is sent instead.
In portrait mode, pressing Enter inserts a line break regardless of whether Shift is held down, and the message cannot be sent without tapping the send button.

Additional information

Browser: Safari
OS: iOS 17.3.1 (iPhone SE 2), iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad Mini 6)
