I have included in the custom instructions, "Please use memory only when I say 'remember.'" This is because I want to use GPT's memory feature efficiently while conserving resources. However, GPT frequently disregards this and continues to use memory. Each time, I press the low rating button and provide feedback that the use of memory was inappropriate, but even after multiple re-generations, it keeps using memory. Despite sending negative feedback multiple times, it stubbornly continues to record in memory.

What I expect is that when I send feedback that the use of memory was inappropriate, GPT should stop using memory for a while. I'm really struggling with the issue where "temporary information that is only relevant to the current conversation" is overwhelming the memory. The context that "this is temporary information only relevant to the current conversation" is missing every time, so GPT ends up registering trivial information like "I chose a sweet bun for breakfast today" in memory, and then starts talking as if I "always choose a sweet bun for breakfast." This kind of behavior is repeated over and over again, and it's quite frustrating.

I am generally satisfied with other features, but this one is truly annoying.

Also, I don't want to completely stop using memory. I just want GPT to remember only the information I want it to, and not the information I don't want it to. So, temporarily disabling memory in a chat won't solve this problem.

When I said, as usual, 'Do not use memory,' GPT misunderstood and erased all the memory. After that, even when I said 'Please restore it,' it couldn't be restored. Doesn't this suggest there's a serious bug in the memory function?
