Hi @shell compass. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
To avoid reaching your GPT-4o limit constantly, you can consider using a smaller model like GPT-4o-mini. Choosing the right model requires balancing accuracy, latency, and cost. GPT-4o-mini might be a more cost-effective option if you're frequently hitting the usage limit of GPT-4o.
However, it's important to note that the capabilities and performance of GPT-4o-mini might not be the same as GPT-4o. Therefore, you should consider your specific needs and requirements when choosing a model.
If you're using the API, you can specify the model in your API calls. For example, instead of using 'gpt-4o', you can use 'gpt-4o-mini' as the model parameter in your API calls.
If you're using the Chat Playground and you're in a higher tier (not the free tier), you should be able to change the model in the settings. If you're in the free tier, you might not have access to GPT-4 models by default.
If you're frequently hitting the usage limit and need more capacity, you might also consider increasing your usage tier. This can be done by adding more funds to your account. You can view your current rate limits and how to raise them in the Limits section of your account settings.
