Please note that I am getting this in each new chat that I created (mainly it is the second question of each chat is when it says “I’m sorry, I cannot assist with that”. It is starting to bug me a lot because this problem has not happened to me in the past, or is this just a one time occurrence?

It should also be noted that this does happen to affect some of old and new chats that I've been working on, or have recently created. Please note that I have followed the guidelines, this has not been a problem with my chatgpt before, and this recently started to happen on my chatgpt yesterday. Please note that this affects both shortened and longer prompts that I've usually use to ask chatgpt.

I also forgot to mention this but every time I regenerate a question, prompt, etc, it generated the answer, everything after that is when it states “I’m sorry, I cannot assist with that” even though I am not doing anything wrong, been following the guidelines, and all of the prompt and information that I've provided always worked in the past. It also sometimes randomly cuts off in the middle of generation as well.

Steps to reproduce:

Use the browser version, or app version of chatgpt

input the prompt and information that you want to ask chatgpt.

Expected result:

Should be a answer from chatgpt to be elaborated, answered, or further elaborated about.

Actual result:

I'm sorry, I can't assist with that.

Additional information

Browser: I tried the clear your website cache option, and it should be noted that it did not work
OS: I've also tried to use the option of regenerating the text on the IOS App, but it also stated "I'm sorry, I can't assist with that."

Please note that this is my proof, and iut should be noted that I blotted out the text for safety purpose, and I also forgot to mention this but this is the 8th prompt that I attempted to use in this chat, and while the second time worked, everything after that stated "I'm sorry, I can't assist with that." every single time. This has also affected both old and new chats on my chatgpt.

that is a safety response so its seeing something it thinks it should not help with. this can be in your prompts, custom instructions, memories

Please note that this has never happened in the past, and the problem recently started for me yesterday afternoon, in the morning and before that it was operating all fine. It should be noted that I’ve tried to troubleshoot the system myself, but it did not work.

Please also note that this is affecting all of my chats for this. It should also be noted that it is also affected both in long (not literally) and short question form as even if I ask a short question, it keeps saying “ I’m sorry, I cannot assist with that.

custom instructions and memories are applied to every answer. you should use the share thread feature and link it in the original post

I’ve also tried to clear the memory cache of my ChatGPT yesterday as well, but it did not work as well. It should also be noted that I am not using custom instruction for all of my chats.

Just saying the stuff I’ve been asking has not violated the ChatGPT guidelines before, so the question is why is it deciding to act up now because in the past, most of my questions are easily answered and no problem, but now it’d decided to say “I'm sorry, I can’t assist with that.” For every single question and request that I ask.
