#MacOS Desktop App - ChatGPT - Unable to paste a URL into the message box

I am unable to paste a URL copied from the browser into the message box of a conversation. I can copy an image or text and paste it... but not a URL.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Copy the URL from any browser
  2. Open the desktop app
  3. Open an existing conversation
  4. Paste the URL (Command - V) into the message field of the conversation

Expected result:
Nothing gets pasted into the conversation

Actual result:
Nothing
