When I ask chatgpt to code something, if it's too long it stops sending the code, I remember some time ago there was a button to make it continue, but I don't see it anymore.

Based on the information from the OpenAI community forum, it appears that several users have reported a similar issue where the "continue generation" button has disappeared. This button was previously used to generate longer outputs, including code, when the initial output was too long. However, it seems to have been removed or is not functioning as expected recently.

One user reported that the AI model is now trying to force the output to fit into one prompt, even ignoring instructions to fit it in neatly. If the user asks it to generate something that should output where it would normally continue into multiple prompts, it condenses the output to reduce it to fit the token limit. This could be why your code generation is being cut off.

Unfortunately, there is no official response or solution provided in the knowledge sources. It might be helpful to reach out to OpenAI support or check the OpenAI community forum for updates or workarounds.
