Yes, ChatGPT can assist with accounting and finance tasks. Customers on a paid plan can use Advanced Data Analysis (ADA) to interact with data documents, including Excel (xlsx) files. Using ADA, ChatGPT can answer quantitative questions about your data, fix common data errors, and produce data visualizations. It can perform a variety of data analysis tasks, including anomaly detection and mitigation, as well as data aggregation and integration. For example, it can identify and repair missing values, outlier values, duplicate rows, and incorrect data types in your data. It can also perform aggregations such as sums, averages, minimum and maximum values, counts of distinct values, and standard deviation calculations.

However, while ChatGPT itself can’t directly create and send you files, you can use the information and structure provided to manually create your spreadsheet in your preferred spreadsheet software. The actual creation of the files or direct manipulation of software (like Excel or Google Sheets) would need to be handled by the application’s logic outside of the GPT API.

For large data files, ChatGPT can handle files up to 512 MB, making it a good solution for working with data files which are too large to open in a spreadsheet application.

Please note that the insights provided by ChatGPT are based on the data you provide and the questions you ask. It's always a good idea to double-check the results and use your professional judgement.
