Unsubscribed from autorenewal - new charges added.

Steps to reproduce:
Do nothing.

Expected result:
I expected to retain my monthly $20 subscription.

Actual result:
I was mysteriously unsubscribed and upon trying to resubscribe I have an additionally "Chicago Lease Tax". I do not live in Illinois or Chicago. Possibly caused by using ChatGPT with a VPN by accident?

Browser: Chrome
OS: Windows

I have been a premium subscriber since the beginning with no issues. I randomly did not get resubbed this month. Upon trying to resub I found an additional charge for "Chicago Lease Tax". I did not unsubscribe nor do I live in Chicago or the state of IL so I am not sure why this is being added? If someone could help remove this additional fee I would appreciate it.

Hmm dang ok. Maybe there's some info cached in the browser? As a test, can you try disconnecting from wifi if you're connected to it, and then logging in fresh in a private window, and trying again from there? With the VPN remaining off for this!

I was able to get it back to $19.99 by using my phones gpt app it probably does have to do with caching.

Good deal! Only other thing to possibly keep in mind: make sure no one else has access to your account! Could be throwing off geolocation too, possibly. Glad you got it fixed up!
