#Mystery model in API

I used the OpenAI API to list available models, and I'm seeing a new model name listed today that wasn't there yesterday:
gpt-4o-test-shared
When I make an API request to chat completions using this model, I get an Internal Server Error response.
Is there any information about that model?

Hi @wild robin. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Hmm, I don't know enough to give you a confident answer yet. The knowledge sources provided do not contain any specific information about a model named gpt-4o-test-shared. It's possible that this could be a test or development version of a model that isn't intended for public use.

If you're encountering an Internal Server Error, it might be best to stick to the officially documented models. OpenAI has a range of models including gpt-4o, gpt-4-turbo, gpt-4, and gpt-3.5-turbo among others, as mentioned in the Models Overview (https://platform.openai.com/docs/models) on the OpenAI platform documentation.

If you continue to experience issues, I recommend reaching out to OpenAI support or checking the OpenAI Community (https://community.openai.com/) for updates and discussions.

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
