I bought Chat GPT Plus over a Year ago. The day before Chat GPT 4 -o launched I tried to get into API development and would like to try out Turbo and all those. Especially since it would help me a lot processing certain things in a complex evaluation loop, instead of typing it all myself all the time.

The Problem I face is, that as for the API billing I cant use my credit card. But for Chat GPT Plus I used the exact same card.
I face the issue that the only reason left to using Chatgpt would be the API, as Chat GPT 4-o is apparently free and better? So why paying for it? Especially when I cant use the API.

Can someone fix this error? I am willing to pay lots of more money. No Problem. I just want to use it.

yeah ur gonna have to use a different card, they recently changed their card policies , also they use credits now

But I just got one credit card... Now I need to get me another one just to use it?

Also what policie to i need to match with that credit card? Otherwise ill be getting another faulty one ._.

This is fairly common, as they billing system for gpt and api is different.
