Since the upgrade, every time I run something on the playground, as soon as the response is about 70% copmplete, the web page blanks. Just a gray featureless screen the same color as the pg background with no page elements.
I do a TON of work, all day, every day, prompt engineering on the PG.
Do I need to switch to the "console" of a competitor? I really don't want to have to rebuild all my preset contexts.

Had to clear cache and cookies to fix this. Working now.

Thank you this solve the issue for me. The preset I was working on didn't update, but at least I can playground again.

Next time you can also use incognito for a quick workaround when this happens if you dont wanna get rid of your cookies/cache for other sites!

well, yes. incognito is the same as browsing without cookies.
What's ESPECIALLY annoying is: IT KEEPS HAPPENING!
I use the playground for a few hours and I have to nuke my logins again and wipe my data. Forced me to switch to a Playground-only browser (Hey! Check it out! I found a use forEdge!: Coping with OpenAI's broken crap.

I personally haven't ever had this issue with the playground blanking, do you have any extensions installed that may be causing interference?

Sometimes when I had my adblock+ enabled on Playground and ChatGPT I had a ton of issues

Maybe try adding an exception for AB+ and AB and see if that makes things a bit better! No ads on OpenAI websites anyways

CAN CONFIRM! I'm having this same issue. Came here to report it. When I'm running an assistant and press send, it blanks out. If I refresh - everything is there but definitely seeing this.

Same happening to me. Have tested in Chrome and Edge w/ no extensions installed, cleared all cache and cookies, same thing. Refreshing the page does load the content but the Logs tab will be empty. Same behavior with gpt-4o and gpt-4-turbo.

Yeah, the history checkpoint only happens after the complete successful response apparently. I get this problem about 99% of submissions in chrome with native internal dark mode flag on. Edge it's only about 20% of the time. I do all my openai stuff in edge now and tht's all i use it for. (Hey! I found a use for edge that ISN'T "Go download chrome then kindly get throat cancer and die, thanks.")

Just to follow up, this issue appears to be completely resolved for me today.
