I was wondering is chatgpt memory not available in the UK? I don't seem to have access to it in the settings?

OpenAI has been testing the memory feature with ChatGPT, which allows the model to remember things discussed across all chats, making future conversations more helpful. Users have control over ChatGPT's memory and can explicitly tell it to remember something, ask it what it remembers, and tell it to forget conversationally or through settings. The memory feature can also be turned off entirely.

However, the availability of this feature may vary. The information provided does not specifically mention any regional restrictions for the memory feature in the UK. If you're not seeing it in your settings, it could be due to the feature being rolled out gradually to users. OpenAI has mentioned that they are testing this feature with a small portion of ChatGPT free and Plus users and will share plans for a broader roll out soon.

For more details on how to manage the memory feature, you can refer to the Memory FAQ (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8590148-memory-faq) and What is Memory? (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8983136-what-is-memory) articles on OpenAI's help center. If you continue to experience issues, it may be best to reach out to OpenAI's support directly.
