Yes, the greater-than and less-than symbols seem to be causing this issue. When it tries to generate this:
public static void AddHttpClient(this IServiceCollection services, IConfiguration configuration, Action<IServiceProvider, HttpClient> configureClient)

it always stops after the word 'Action'. In fact any time it tries to add a '<' it fails and gets stuck in a generation loop as it tries over and over to generate the same thing.
