Steps to reproduce:

  1. I am trying to initiate new chats but am not being able to.
  2. I tried on the browser and also the android app.
  3. The old chats are still working.

Expected result:

New chats should work.

Actual result:

Error message.
The server is having problems. Please try again later.

3.5 is working. But when I switch to 4 or dynamic it does not. Its been almost 24 hours now.

For the past two days, ChatGPT 4 has not been working, although the 3.5 model is functioning properly. I have a Plus subscription. I contacted the support team yesterday regarding this issue but received nothing beyond the usual recommendations to check my browser, VPN, cookies, etc. I've tried accessing my account on both Chrome and Edge, cleared all cookies, and attempted to connect in Incognito mode. Additionally, I've checked the mobile version of your official ChartGPT app on iPhone. I'm not using any VPN and am currently located in Europe. I haven't made any changes to the Firewall settings in Windows 11. According to your status website, everything seems fine with all systems operational. However, I'm unable to use ChatGPT 4 as I keep receiving the message "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong." Upon inspecting the developer console in Chrome, I noticed the following error: POST https://chat.openai.com/backend-api/conversation 500 (Internal Server Error). I've also attempted to connect from various internet providers, including home, office, and mobile data, but unfortunately, without success.

Hi Alekho, If you want ChatGPT really fast the only way is to create/use another login and pay your subscription again and cancel your subscription in your previous account name. For now, this is the only thing to do. It will not address the issue you are right. But unfortunately this is such a temporary solution. If you go to the status.openai.com website, you will see that GPT works correctly. The problem is on our side.

OpenIA banned my account for no reason, I only used GPT4 for coding purposes, when I created a new account and paid plus again GPT4 worked correctly again, is it a failure in the banning system or why are they doing these random bans?

well, i did send them a bug report but i have not seen an answer yet. maybe it's somewhere in my account, im not sure

Solved for me guys, third bug report i sent to their on the help support telling us their joking about us, understood they’r using chatbot AI to answer , dont know if any technical dude made anything but its back for me, hv a good night🙏🏼

thanks for sorting things out.
it would have been better to acknowledge the problem right away and put up a banner saying that work is underway, so people don't worry. instead, there were just responses about cookies not being right and maybe vpn issues... not exactly the most reassuring.
