Accessing other custom GPT's from within a custom GPT using the @ feature not working | OpenAI | Page 1

If I'm using ChatGPT 4, I can use the @ symbol to interact with other custom GPT's. However, if I start a thread with one of the custom ones (because they have all the background information I'd need already) it won't let me. The @ symbol is just that, an @ symbol.

Steps to reproduce:

Start new chat with any of the custom GPT's

enter @ symbol

Expected result:

popup indicating 'search recent and pinned GPT's'

Actual result:

@ symbol, no option to access custom GPT's

Additional information

Browser: Chrome / Firefox / iOS app
OS: Windows 10 /iOS
