I pay for plus and I cannot load my gpts. Here is my download speed. Its frustrating, to not even ask a question, and log out then back in, erase cookie, flush dns, refresh the page, wait for it to load to just error out. My speed is about 1G, and I cant even load my gpts or history. For an hour this has been happening? I cannot edit the thing.
Also, another issue, when you spend days crafting instructions, then one time try the gpt assistant, and it erases all your past instructions. Does that make ANY sense? It should update the instructions you previously had, it should NEVER erase a user instructions. Fortunately for me, I saved it, and did not realize till today that, it just erases your old instructions, but leaves every single thing else the same. I don't understand the thought process that is, replace current instruction, instead of add to them? If you can only do simple operations, like you are a code snippet, then do the one that makes sense, add to instructions. If you are gonna program it with some intelligence, so it can make the decision, maybe have it hard coded to not erase without a warning, error message. I cannot think of a scenario where you would just start over unless you were creating a new custom gpt. There is not a single use case, because in every single case, you would just make a new one. You would never go to "Edit" your gpt, just to erase the instructions and start over. You would make a new one. I am sorry for repeating myself, but I am unbelievably annoyed you can code the worlds best AI, but not think of the most obvious scenario.
Let me dig it in deeper here, would you erase all your openai code? Anyways, here is when the bug or issue was reported, and seemingly nothing has been done about it. https://community.openai.com/t/updating-an-existing-custom-gpt-will-randomly-overwrite-your-instructions/582479 there it is reported Jan 11th. Seems a lot of people learn the hard way.
When you ask anything to your custom GPT in the create section, it will randomly overwrite the existing instructions losing all the previous work that has been done. This is very frustrating as you can imagine. I just lost everything that was written in the instructions box as it was replaced with something much shorter and not relevant. We ne...
