Hello everyone!

I'm excited to share with you a project I'm developing: a sophisticated voice assistant created using the OpenAI API and the Google speech recognition module. 🎙️

This project is leading me to explore new frontiers in artificial intelligence and natural language processing, and now I'm ready to share the progress I've made so far with you!

The voice assistant can perform a variety of tasks using voice recognition and artificial intelligence. It can answer your questions, provide useful information, execute commands, and much more!

Answers user questions using OpenAI's artificial intelligence.
Recognizes your voice command and reacts accordingly.
You can choose from various Text-to-Speech services for the voice of the assistant.
And coming soon... it will be integrated with Home Assistant for enhanced automation and home control!
🎉 How Can You Try It Out? 🎉

Simple! Follow these steps:

Make sure you have Python and pip installed on your computer.
Clone the project repository from the following link: https://github.com/TGiacinto/tuccia-assistant
Follow the instructions in the README.md to configure and run the voice assistant on your system.
Start talking to the assistant and discover what it can do!

I wanted to try it but couldn't install as (googlesearch-python) installation wants to install "pyobjc" which is only available for macOS. I only have Linux and windows machines 😦

Hello @sick gyro, Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. I've addressed the error and released a fix on the repository. Now the package should install properly on Linux and Windows systems without requiring "pyobjc". Please feel free to try installing it again and let me know if you encounter any further issues. Hi @trim mural thank you for reaching out. The "project" was born because I needed to study Python and ChatGPT's functions for work. I thought, why not implement a voice assistant leveraging the capabilities of ChatGPT? Here's the result. At the moment, you can have conversations where the assistant dynamically responds and understands the context of the sentence. You can switch from one topic to another, and the voice assistant understands it. Currently, I'm implementing integration with Home Assistant. The goal is to manage devices naturally and see their status: whether they are on or off, or their respective power consumption.
Examples of questions the assistant can understand include:
Which devices are on?
How much power do the living room bulbs consume?
I'm reading a book but the lighting isn't bright enough, and the assistant understands it needs to turn on the lights. That's it. It was born out of curiosity, and I'd appreciate some feedback. 😀

Great I want to work with you as internal I have vast exp in api development Microservices in Java . Beginner knowledge in LLM etc . I wan t to work with you and contribute is there any chance. It helpful me for me learn the LLm and open api more .

You can fork the repository here: https://github.com/TGiacinto/tuccia-assistant. It's all written in Python. The plan for the future is to run the assistant on a Raspberry Pi.🍒 😉
