Description:
I have been attempting to use DALL-E 3 to add golden translucent birds and fairies to an existing image. Despite multiple attempts and various phrasings in my prompts, the in-painting function does not seem to add these elements to the selected areas of the image.
Steps to Reproduce:
Generated an initial image with DALL-E 3 inspired by a lullaby, set in a misty, ethereal forest scene.
Used the in-painting feature to add specific elements (golden translucent birds and fairies) to the image.
Selected areas in the image where I wanted these new elements to appear.
Provided detailed prompts to guide the generation of these elements.
Expected Result:
The selected areas in the image should be filled with newly generated golden translucent birds and fairies, integrated seamlessly into the existing scene.
Actual Result:
No new elements were added to the selected areas, regardless of the prompt specificity or the selection precision.
Question/Issue:
In previous experiences with in-painting tools like Invoke, I would draw on the photo to indicate where I wanted new elements, and the tool would interpret these drawings along with the prompt to generate content. Is the absence of a similar drawing feature or functionality in DALL-E 3 the reason why it's unable to add the requested elements? Am I missing a step or is there a limitation in the tool that I'm not aware of?
Additional Information:
I have tried multiple iterations with different prompt structures and selection areas.
The issue persists regardless of the specificity or clarity of the instructions in the prompt.
