> 4. Contact your bank and have them re-issue the debit card used to pay for ChatGPT+ with the same card number but a new CVC code
> 5. Clear any and all cache locally or use a different device
> 6. Try to subscribe to ChatGPT+ using the newly issued card with the same card number but new CVC
**Expected result:**
> Payment succeeds
**Actual result:**
> Payment is declined. Upon contacting bank, they will see that the old CVC code was included in the transaction instead of the new one that I typed in manually, resulting in the decline.

For Billing problems you should really contact OAI over the widget in help.openai.com
The OAI Billing Team never shows their presence on Discord
The bot is being mildly helpful
I know, bots in general are a horrible solution
but this is more of a Community driven server
and for billing, that's pretty much the only solution. You could ask Kapa in #1184149552639516732 for more information if you want
but that's also a bot
I'm trying to developer edit tool my way around the problem but it's still trying to use the stored expiration date instead of the one I am typing in according to my bank
Stripe is busted
I see, that I wouldn't really know about.
If I learn something new I'll post it here. Otherwise hope you can find a solution
Still having this issue, support just hit me with "We understand that you have already contacted your bank. Please contact your bank for assistance."
