I have the same issues since 2 weeks.
@summer wagon I've had this issue on the Android app before. As a test, can y'all try these steps?
- Open "App info" for ChatGPT (tap+hold the app icon, tap the little "i" icon, or it might just say "App info")
- In App info, tap "Force stop"
- Then go to "Storage & cache"
- Then tap "Clear storage"
- Then open the ChatGPT app and try signing in again
This has fixed it for me before. I know it seems like uninstalling/reinstalling should do the same thing but that hasn't been the case for me -- it's almost like uninstalling isn't clearing all data and/or reinstalling is sometimes/always accessing bugged cached data that breaks functionality. But clearing data while keeping the app installed has worked.
I tried it, but without success.

Can you check to see if you have an update for the 073 version? Or 080 if you're signed up for the beta?
I resigned for the beta, but with the same result. I'm on Android 6.x
Did you confirm that you now have an updated version of the app, either 073 or 080? If so, have you tried the force stop/clear storage/DON'T uninstall steps listed above again?
Yes, I installed the 073 version on my Samsung tablet with the same behavior.
