I brainstorm ideas with it - it has some cool, unique input. I then outline the story and have ChatGpT create the beats for every chapter. I write in a different app because ChatGpT seems to want to create only 500-1000 words pr chapter and it does not remember previous chapters. BUT sometimes, I'll paste a scene or a dialogue in ChatGpT and ask it to expand or enhance. I hope in the future, ChatGpT plugins will be able to do what I tell it to, that would make my life a lot easier 😉 Like I create a plugin and tell it to always write in first person present tense, plain english, but the next day, it will be back to third person, flowery clichee writing. I am VERY excited being part of this and have written my first novel and is 1/3 through my next AI-assisted novel.
Oh, I also use Dall-E for bookcovers, blurps and summaries 🙂
I use Dall-E and ChatGpT to do my social media - mostly because I don't like SoMe and I know that as a writer, I have to be present on SoMe - I am grateful for not having to spend so much time on it anymore 🙂
