I've been an OpenAI customer since 2022 and have had the same credit card on file and used it successfully ever since.

A few days ago I tried to top up my credit (for the first time since the changeover of the payment system).
I received a message that my credit card had been declined.

I deleted the stored credit card details and tried again. However, I only ever receive the message that my credit card has been declined.

  • I have also tried in the Incognito browser (to rule out caching problems) or via the iPhone
  • My address details etc. have not changed
  • Nothing has changed with my credit card
    **- I have contacted my bank about this and they say they have not declined anything. They haven't even received a debit request from OpenAI. **

Since my bank hasn't even received a debit request, the problem must lie with OpenAI itself. But I can't reach a human here.

The chatbot from OpenAI only returns the standard knowledge base article and is no help at all. My messages to support (via the chat) are unanswered and unread and if you believe the many people with a similar problem, none of them have ever received help from an OpenAI employee...

Everything is at a complete standstill here. Other payment options are not offered in my country.
I urgently need help 😦

Is there any other way to contact someone from OpenAI? Does anyone have any ideas? I really don't know what to do...
Need OpenAI and especially the API urgently for work.

I have already used it. Just never get anything back except unhelpful comments from the chatbot. All unanswered and unseen for days.
I'm posting this out of sheer desperation and because I have no idea who else to turn to.

Yes, this concerns my company account. This current situation and the way OpenAI is handling it is absolutely incomprehensible to me. I will really have to look for alternatives in the future.
I find this dependency without help deeply uncomfortable.

The form is specifically aimed at enterprise customers, I'm afraid I won't get any help there either.
But I'll give it a try anyway, thanks for the tip.
