#Why can't Dall-E 3 generate images of small spaces?

Hi @rough shale. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.
Hmm, I don't know enough to give you a confident answer yet. The extracts provided do not contain specific information about DALL-E 3's ability or inability to generate images of small spaces or rooms with low roofs.
However, it's worth noting that DALL-E 3 was trained on very detailed prompts and thus performs best with detailed prompts. If you're having trouble generating specific types of images, it might be helpful to provide more detailed prompts. For example, instead of "a small room", you could try "a small room with a low ceiling, filled with antique furniture and dimly lit by a single window" source (https://community.openai.com/t/476355).
If you're still having trouble, it might be worth reaching out to OpenAI's support or community forums for more specific guidance.
Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:

I don't think that the problem is the "restrictions." I suspect that it is an issue with training data. If I had to throw out a wild guess, a lot of the architectural images in the training set are of opulent, imposing and impressive rooms.
This image was pretty bad:
Apparently, Dall-E "thinks" that old women can jump higher than Kobe Bryant could.
Sure. However, I later asked it to make the floor to ceiling distance 1.5 meters, it still failed. Even though I was very specific about it
I managed to get a few.

An inventive living space squeezed into a narrow crawlspace under a house. This unique setting shows a slim, elongated room creatively designed to maximize a very small area. The space features a long, narrow bed that doubles as a sofa, with storage compartments cleverly built into the walls and under the floorboards. Lighting is soft and strategically placed to enhance the sense of space. Minimalist shelves hold essential items, and a small, foldable desk is attached to the wall for work or dining. The decor includes warm textiles and soft lighting, making the most of the limited headroom and width. This image embodies the concept of adapting to extremely confined living conditions with ingenuity and style.
