Will GPT 3.5 Ever get the same features as GPT 4? If not, this cements my statement that GPT 3.5 needs love too!

Hi @glacial siren. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Based on the information provided in the extracts, it's not explicitly stated whether GPT-3.5 will receive the same features as GPT-4. However, it's important to note that OpenAI continues to update and improve its models, as evidenced by the release of the updated GPT-3.5 Turbo model, gpt-3.5-turbo-0125, which features higher accuracy at responding in requested formats and includes a bug fix for a text encoding issue for non-English language function calls source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8555514-gpt-3-5-turbo-updates).

That said, GPT-4 is described as OpenAI's most capable model, suitable for tasks that require creativity and advanced reasoning source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/7864572-what-is-the-chatgpt-plus-model-selector#h_5474af13dc). It also comes with new features like the ability to generate images with DALL•E 3.

While GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 are both powerful models, they are designed with different capabilities and use cases in mind. It's also worth noting that fine-tuning is currently more readily available for GPT-3.5, while GPT-4 fine-tuning is only available through an experimental program source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/7127982-can-i-fine-tune-gpt-4).

In conclusion, while GPT-3.5 may not have all the same features as GPT-4, it continues to be a valuable tool in the OpenAI suite and receives updates and improvements.

Sora is a text-to-video model developed by OpenAI. It's designed to understand and simulate the physical world in motion, with the goal of training models that help people solve problems that require real-world interaction. Sora can generate videos up to a minute long while maintaining visual quality and adherence to the user’s prompt source (https://community.openai.com/t/630425).

As of the information available in the extracts, Sora is not yet widely available to the public. It's currently being made available to red teamers to assess critical areas for harms or risks. OpenAI is also granting access to a number of visual artists, designers, and filmmakers to gain feedback on how to advance the model to be most helpful for creative professionals source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/8958981-how-to-access-sora).

There's currently no waiting list or any other means for the public to gain access to the Sora model. OpenAI has not provided a timeline or additional details on Sora’s broader public availability source (https://community.openai.com/t/628875).
