Steps to reproduce:
- make account with 2fa login thats also paired to google
- attemps to login without google
Expected result:
ask for 2Fa code
Actual result:
gets ckciked back with an error to alos enter password before entering 2fa code even tho password field was not visible

just checked, working for me with other services. just tried it with anthropic

Via google it prompts me to use my username and password beacus I have 2Famsetup, disabling 2fa does not fix this

The thing is, which is the problem, is the 2FA problem on the google side or openai side.
do you have a way to troubleshoot the google side?

I was able to get in via a chrome incognito browser. (was getting the same error on firefox)
I ended up clearing all data related to OpenAI from my browser
logged in not via the google link, but by my email
Entered my OpenAi password (will most likely have to create one if you have only been signing in with google)
then when it asks for an authentication code (i never got one) i clicked "another way" this got an code emailed to me and it worked
