Can DALL-E 3 receive two PNG windows screenshots of a short poem, and choose, while explaining why forensically, which screenshot was altered in software?

The underlying assumption is the resolutions are equal, and there is loss of quality in one and the other due to factors such as compression being uploaded to apps like discord. So, Loss of quality does not determine which is edited in this case.

For example, can DALL-E 3 analyze pixel by pixel for discrepancies in text-based images, and forensically conclude which one is edited in Paint.exe?

Based on the information provided in the extracts, DALL-E 3 is an image generation model developed by OpenAI. It is capable of generating text in images, supporting landscape and portrait images, generating significantly more detailed images, and understanding complex prompts. However, there is no information suggesting that DALL-E 3 has the capability to analyze two screenshots and determine which one has been altered in software. It is primarily designed for image generation, not image analysis or forensic examination.

For tasks involving image analysis, comparison, or forensic examination, other specialized tools or AI models would likely be more appropriate. It's important to use the right tool for the task at hand, and based on the information available, DALL-E 3 does not appear to be designed for the type of image analysis you're describing.

For more information about DALL-E 3 and its capabilities, you can refer to the DALL·E 3 API documentation (https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/images) and the DALL·E API FAQ (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/6704941-dall-e-api-faq).
