Steps to reproduce:

Attempt to use ChatGPT4.

Observe the error message: "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."

Expected result:

ChatGPT4 should function properly.

Actual result:

error message: "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."

UPD:

If I just upload and send any picture first, the chat will open! I can just start the conversation then and it responds like normal in the gpt4 environment. If I start off first with a text or voice, I will still just get the errors.

Browser: different
OS: Windows/Mac/Android
Network: Tried different networks including mobile.
Troubleshooting steps taken: Cleared cache, logged out and logged in again.

ChatGPT4 has been down all day.
windows/Mac/android

Connected to different networks, to mobile network, cleared cache, logged out and logged in again. Nothing helped.

I keep getting this same message no matter what I try. Started yesterday at 5pm PT.

Starting a new chat does seem to work for that new chat but does not resolve the issue for other existing or new chats w/o an image.

Updated chrome on my macbook pro and that looks to have resolved this issue... would recommend you try this.

I've been monitoring their website since this morning (European time), no errors...

But it made me a bit happy that it's possible to work if a picture is uploaded. At least something. I read on the forums, they say the problem disappears just as it appeared, unexpectedly.

Let me put my name down as well. It’s happening to me too. Tried the app, Chrome and Firefox all with the same issue. Occasionally, it’ll answer one prompt, then fail to do more than that.
