This is what I found from the help.openai.com;
Q: Can I sell images I create with DALL-E?
A: Subject to the Content Policy and Terms, you own the images you create with DALL-E, including the right to reprint, sell, and merchandise.
Does it mean I also get the copyright of the image I generated from the DALL-E?

Hi @last ledge. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base. :wave:

Yes, according to the information provided in the extracts from OpenAI's help articles, you own the images you create with DALL·E, which includes the right to reprint, sell, and merchandise them. This ownership implies that you hold the copyright to these images. However, this is subject to OpenAI's Content Policy (https://labs.openai.com/policies/content-policy) and Terms of Use (https://openai.com/api/policies/terms/).

It's important to note that while you can remove the DALL·E watermark from the images, you should not mislead others about the nature of the work. For instance, you cannot claim that the work was entirely human-generated or that it is an unaltered photograph of a real event. When sharing your work, OpenAI encourages you to proactively disclose AI involvement in your work.

Please review the Content Policy and Terms of Use for more detailed information.

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
