With Chat's ability to create pictures with DALEE, you can paste chapters one by one and ask Chat to illustrate them. With enough patience you can illustrate your book with pretty decent images. You will need to filter them out of course. Chat will try to maintain the initial style it has chosen.
After enough chatpers pasted, it can also create realistic portraits of characters.
The finally the cover art for the book.
You can alternatively tell which particular scenes to illustrate and negotiate if the given illustrations don't satisfy you.

I have generated pictures to my s-f novel "Ingerencja" ("Ingerention"). This is not yet translated into English but when it will, I may paste a link as well. For the Polish readers wanting to access the text, contact me (my email is in this thread).
This is the link to pictures of "Ingerencja". Not all are correct, but that's ok at this moment. Now circa 2/3 of the novel is covered with illustrations.

The novel is partially surreal, hence the surreal pictures. And they are very well rendered.

Done. Adding the missing 1/3 of the novel. This time Dalee was magnificent, however the text of the novel inspired it with it deeply surreal narration.
