I am on gpt plus and when I turn OFF chat history and then start a new conversation. I always get that error message after sending my second message to GPT. the first message always works fine, then I respond and it gives me that error. It happens everytime

This is from the help article provided by OpenAI:

When history is disabled, the conversation will not appear in your history (on the left-hand side of the screen) and cannot be recovered. When chat history is disabled, we will retain new conversations for 30 days and review them only when needed to monitor for abuse, before permanently deleting.

Yes, that is correct, the error is there. The key disappears for all chats, including the active one
