Came across a CS graduate student that had a difficult time understanding the knapsack problem, and just had ChadGPT create an analogy to explain in terms of Harry Potter 😆 . Damn thing went on an adventure to kill Voldemort. Pretty epic explanation, so I started using this approach with any and everyone entering our field of CS.

@icy river it's essentially a concept that requires the individual to choose the type of item that can help them succeed in their objective without weighing down the knapsack too much, and within the constraints of the volume (size) of said knapsack. But it's all interpreted in a combinatorial optimization field of mathematics.
