#Can't login via Android app

Hello, do you have any VPN or adblocker apps installed?
Are you familiar with getting to the "App info" screen for an app in Android? It looks like this:
Awesome! Thanks. First, can you check for any updates for the app in the Play Store? I think you might be a version or two behind. If you update, does that fix it?
I just download the app today
let me check if there is update from play store
the app store on my phone shows 01/26 is the latest version
Ahh ok, I might be wrong -- looks like the two newer versions are beta versions, my bad!!
Ok let's try something else:
Can you:
- Go to the App info screen of your VPN/adblocker app, and tap Force stop, then
- Go to the App info screen of ChatGPT, Force stop, then Storage, then Clear cache, then
- Try logging in again?
I'm just wondering if the VPN/adblocker might have some background processes running, even though you said it's disabled.
let me try
no luck
the clash is not even on. Clear data / cache, login, still show the same error
btw, web version works for me
Right, but sometimes apps like that can have background processes running that can interfere, even if they're not on, that's why I suggested force closing it. Temporarily uninstalling could be a good test too.
Are your phone's date and time settings correct for your location?
clash is not running in the background as well (force stop grays out). data&time is auto, now is PT
Hmm if you're comfortable trying it, you might try temporarily uninstalling it, then force close/clear cache again for ChatGPT, then try again.
Otherwise: what is your setting in Android settings, Network & internet, Private DNS?
I unstalled the clash and retry the steps, not working.
it's using data network of my sim card (tmobile)
private dns off
no vpn
