In this project, I experimented with creating five different artistic expressions, all based on the same theme but using different styles. The theme of "imagination" guided the exploration of various art styles, including how to modify, blend, or harmonize them, and what possibilities each style offers. This was a personal exploration to understand my own perceptions, shared in the hope of providing insights to others.
• **Single-Line Drawing**: Emphasis was placed on the specification and control of the drawing material, exploring the depth of expression through continuous and minimalist contour lines. This approach is based on the aesthetic of achieving maximum expression with minimal lines.
• **High-Quality Portrait**: By applying different techniques while using the same drawing material, an experiment was conducted to derive diverse outcomes from the same tool. This explores how a variety of techniques and expressions can emerge from the same material.
• **Blend of Minimalism and Low-Poly Style**: Influenced by Cubism but seeking a unique texture akin to ‘origami’, a blend of minimalism and low-polygon style was chosen to create a work with distinctive abstraction and structure.
• **Harmony of Monochrome and Steampunk**: Rather than merely blending, the choice was made to ‘harmonize’ these two elements, suggesting that the choice of words can affect the interpretation of the work. The detailed mechanical elements of steampunk in balance with the simplicity of monochrome achieve a refined equilibrium.
• **Harmony of Pop Art and Traditional Silhouette Art:** The high-contrast and stylish elements of pop art were harmonized with the treatment of light and shadow in traditional silhouette art. To avoid overly vivid colors, the color palette was muted, using white as an accent.
