ChatGPT suddenly refuses to do the same task when it has been doing this task for different values but same instructions. What is going on??
I have a similar error. It occurs only in the web version - the ios app works correctly. At the same time, requests to GPT3.5 work correctly through the web version, but they do not work to GPT4
If you refresh the page after a while, does the response show up?

No. I refresh the page and it looks like I never wrote anything - if the chat is new, it's just not in the history, and if it's old, my post isn't there
There is no error message - just nothing happens. My message doesn't even show up in sent messages. I repeat - it works like this only in the web version, and only with gpt4. Both versions (gpt3.5, gpt4) work fine in the application, and 3.5 works fine in the web version
Weird... that sounds different from the OP's issue. I think I would need a HAR file to figure out what's going on, if you'd be willing to provide one (but definitely don't send it publicly, DM it to me instead)
HAR file can be exported from Chrome by opening up the Network tab in developer tools first, then refreshing the page and triggering the error, then clicking the export button.

I use one wifi network and one vpn for desktop and iphone
and everything works on the iphone, but not on the desktop

I had like 6 chats trained for different fields and it was working great until recently
We're investigating a couple issues internally... sorry I don't have useful updates yet. There are a few different issues that are caused by different things (at least from what we know so far) and they're each relatively rare so it's been a bit tough.
the same issue year is about a day now, mine does not except any text input, like you enter nothing. It works from another network though.
Now seems that also CHATGPT 3.5 isn't working
All of my collegues that are using ChatGPT can't use it through our company VPN. Isn't that strange? Is there anything we could do? Like opening any particular IP port? @latent sundial
@latent sundial please help me. I do not know what else I can try to do. I've tried 3 operating systems, and about 6 browsers - it doesn't work anywhere. Everything is fine only in the iOS app.
But the option in which chatgpt is not available through the site is definitely not suitable for me.

Hi all, can folks with this issue try in a private window with all browser extensions disabled? After that, trying this in both a Chromium browser like Chrome and in a non-Chromium browser like Firefox is a good test too (private window, no extensions). After this, it may be worth checking VPN/antivirus/firewall software.
If no luck anywhere, you might right-click the page, click "Inspect", then switch to the Network tab of the dev tools that open up. This tab might give clues as to what's happening to continue troubleshooting.

Hello everyone I found a mistake for myself. Open the developer console in your browser, the network tab, and see if there are any errors in it. There you will see that api.js I received a 403 response from cloudflare - that's the point. This means that cloudflare does not allow your VPN and you need another VPN provider. I tried direct connection and it works.
