#Disabled history - no custom GPT access, no plugins...

I use ChatGPT 4 and recently I realised that I need to disable history in order to protect my data from being used in model training. If I do that, I can't access the GPT store anymore, including my own GPTs. I also can't access plugins. Am I doing something wrong or is this the new policy?

Hi @raven plover. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Based on the information provided in the extracts, there is no direct mention of disabling chat history leading to an inability to access the GPT store, your own GPTs, or plugins.

However, it is mentioned that when chat history is disabled, the conversations started won't be used to train and improve the models, and they won't appear in the history sidebar source (https://help.openai.com/en/articles/6825453-chatgpt-release-notes#h_2818247821).

As for accessing your own GPTs, the extracts indicate that custom GPTs are only accessible via ChatGPT source (https://community.openai.com/t/555079).

If you're experiencing issues with accessing the GPT store or your own GPTs after disabling chat history, it might be a technical issue or a policy not covered in the provided extracts. I would recommend reaching out to OpenAI support for further assistance.

Note: you can ask me a follow up question by @ mentioning me again :speech_balloon:
