Hi @alpine gulch. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

In a ChatGPT Team workspace, there are three different roles: Member, Admin, and Owner. Each role has different permissions.

As a Member, another user in your workspace can:

  • Use the core chat functionality

However, they cannot:

  • Invite new Members
  • Invite new Admins/Owners
  • Cancel an invitation
  • Remove a user
  • Modify a user’s role
  • View plans and invoices under Billing
  • View and toggle features within Settings

Only Admins and Owners have more permissions, such as inviting new members, cancelling invitations, removing users, and viewing workspace analytics. Only Owners can invite new Admins/Owners, modify a user’s role, view plans and invoices under Billing, view and manage Identity & Provisioning, and view and toggle features within Settings.

Therefore, a Member (another user seat) cannot directly interact with or modify your seat. They can only interact with you through the core chat functionality.
