#Calorie Tracking

I used GPT4 to help me write an iOS shortcut that allows me to say “Food Log” to Siri during the day whenever I eat something. I then dictate what I’ve eaten and it saves it to an Apple Note called “Food Log”. At the end of the day, I copy and paste that note into a running GPT conversation called “calorie tracker” and it estimates my calories for the day. So much easier (and therefore manageable) than using one of the calorie tracking apps. I’ve cross-referenced GPT’s estimates against other data sources and they seem to be roughly correct most of the time. I also export that conversation once a month and save it as a text file which I can give GPT as a reference if I start a new conversation about calories (when it starts to struggle with the length of the old thread).
