GPTs save prompting time, as much of the prompt engineering framing the 'expert' and topic context is structured and tested ahead of time. If you have a set of topic areas you access frequently, a GPT will save typing each time you interact on that topic. In addition, conversation starters also provide an at-a-click accelerator for even more time savings. If you repeat a task or request often, say asking for a topic/word of the day (from a primed expert) or to format input in a certain way, this could easily be incorporated into a conversation starter. Conversation starters could even be used to prime the GPT to focus on a certain subdomain of a larger knowledge domain to provide more focused results.
