I’m trying to find a way to edit just certain area of an image, or expand it as I was able to do with the Dall-e editor. Is this feature gone? I’m only generating images through ChatGPT now, but can’t find the way to edit specific areas.

The DALL·E editor is still available according to the information provided in the extracts. You can access the editor in two ways once you're logged in on a desktop device:

  1. Start with an image: From any image on the DALL-E website, you can click the "Edit" button to drop into an editor with that image as the starting point.
  2. Start with a blank canvas: If you'd prefer to start from scratch, you can bookmark and use the following URL: https://labs.openai.com/editor

However, please note that users on mobile devices don't have access to advanced editor features like outpainting. You can still inpaint images by tapping "Edit" on an existing image you've generated or uploaded.

If you're having trouble accessing these features, it might be worth checking if there have been any recent updates or changes to the service.
