Bug Report:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. I have plugin chats I have primed with all the information about my clients. I've used these chat for a while now and ask them for various tasks. However, ChatGPT freezes and runs into problems now. This is happening with almost all these chats.
  2. Today I opened one and said "good morning" and got "Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."

Expected result:
Anything that would start a conversation. I don't even care if it responded "hi"

Actual result:
"Hmm...something seems to have gone wrong."
Sometimes the chats freeze

Additional information

Browser: chrome
OS: mac
I can run tasks using GPTs and new chats, but the primed chats took a lot of work to just be dead now.

Images are of responses that I used to get vs what I get now.

Hi Mike, just my guesses here, but this could be from a couple things:

  • Plugins are headed towards deprecation, to be replaced by GPTs, so some may no longer work as GPT versions replace them. You might search the GPT Store for GPT versions of the plugins you've used.
  • Sometimes very long chats can start to error out like this, with the only workable solution being starting a new chat. For what it may be worth in this regard: depending on how long the chat is, you may have already hit the context limit of the model. When this happens, old data is automatically forgotten to make room for new data, which is to say: if you copy/paste certain critical data from the chat into a new chat, you should get back to roughly the same chat experience that you came to expect from this chat.
