ChatGPT-TEAM Sharing

1. I can't share conversations or GPTs between seats in ChatGPT-TEAM.
2. In my personal area (Plus Account), my plan is no longer displayed.

no error. just can't share gpt's. nothing shows up in the team workspace besides our own content.

You made a GPT but you can't see it in your team workspace? Or you can't share the link with other people in your team? Can you share a screenshot of where you're expecting to see your GPT?

there's a big misunderstanding, I think, of what's supposed to be possible with chatgpt-team

we were expecting to be able to share conversations and collaborate together on them

I can see custom gpt's that are build across accounts in the workspace

but I can't see another users individual chats

which is more what is insinuated on the company marketing materials when they mention collaboration

You're referring to marketing material like this, right?

I'll pass along the feedback to the team. We definitely have talked internally about "multiplayer" chats, but not sure what the plans are there. The current team plan is pretty similar to what we provide to enterprises, where businesses want to make sure they can limit sharing of chats to within their workspace and create GPTs that might have proprietary info without it becoming publicly accessible.

@mighty cedarWhat about teams collaborating internally on externally-facing GPTs?

You can think of GPT-4 Turbo with Code Interpreter and 8kB of instructions as, essentially, a command-line operating system with AI capabilities virtualized in the browser. A lot of Teams are aiming to build software for that OS.

With Browse and Image generation enabled, Custom GPTs are, essentially, a 1993 home PC with advanced AI performing the compute.

I can't seem to share custom GPT's either.

I've worked all afternoon to train a custom gpt and I can't see it from my other account also in the workspace

I don't know why I can't see the ProBal Expert gpt in the second account workspace

okay. that's a really confusing method to add the new gpt to the sidebar... but I found it

I have to go to Explore GPT's at the top left and THEN it shows me the custom gpt's that are created on the team workspace. that's hardly intuitive..

Yeah, the sidebar is supposed to show you GPTs you made or you recently used, but I can see why that's can be confusing

There are lots of oddities about ChatGPT Team... and they have not been well documented or explained as advertised. I have a ticket in with OAI but still waiting to hear back. It was very much sold as everyone in the team would have a personal space and a shared workspace (or multiple) and chats/GPTs would seamlessly sync between people on same workspace. What we've got is a bit of a fudge.
Does anyomne know if when you set Custom Instructions for a workspace they apply for everyone, or just the individual account... seems to be the latter.

Custom instructions are per-user, as we expect that everyone has their own preferences for how they want ChatGPT to behave
