Whenever I tried to position a created object to one corner of the picture, dall-e does not understand it. Instead it keep positioning the object in the middle of the picture. The prompt used in the attached cat picture: American Shorthair cat positioned in the left half of the picture, with detailed fur depiction.

Positional awareness like this is something a DALL·E dev mentioned as a goal for future DALL·E versions in an AMA they did a little while back: #dall-e-ama-answers message
It was a bit lighthearted, but it points to a limitation in prompt-following in the model at present. I'm sure we can expect improvements on this as the tech continues to advance! Would also be curious to hear any tips folks have though.

Thanks for the info. I tried many times... And one out of five times dall-e seemed to understand the instruction and produced the object in the opposite corner😣 so I have had a hope. I will wait and see the further development.

Actually is It possible but you will get a low detailed image, define any object at the center of the image and then ask for your cat at the corner. That's the only way i found to change position for am object.
